1. Introductions, apologies and substitutions
1.1 The Chair welcomed everybody to the meeting. Apologies had been received from Ken Skates, Christine Chapman substituted.
2. Inquiry into the Draft Legislative Proposals for EU Structural Funds 2014-2020 : Evidence Session
2.1 The Chair welcomed Jereon Jutte and tbc to the meeting. Members questioned the witnesses.
2.2 Jereon Jutte agreed to provide the Committee with the following additional information:
· The pilot initiatives which have used financial engineering instruments funded through the European Social Fund.
· The rationale behind the proposed approach to evaluating the structural funds as set out in the draft regulations and how this differs from the current requirements.
3. Inquiry into the Draft Legislative Proposals for EU Structural Funds 2014-2020 : Evidence Session
3.1 The Chair welcomed Jill Evans MEP and Derek Vaughan MEP to the meeting. Members questioned the witnesses.
